AP CSA Practice Test 2

A full-length AP Computer Science A multiple-choice practice test: 42 questions, answered one at a time with instant feedback, a final score, and a breakdown of the ideas you missed.

This is a full-length practice test for the multiple-choice section of the AP Computer Science A exam: 42 questions. On the real exam you get 90 minutes to answer 42 questions, which works out to a little over two minutes each. Set a timer for 90 minutes if you want to practice under exam conditions, and keep the Java Quick Reference handy, since the exam provides it.

Questions appear one at a time, in order. Pick an answer, press Check answer, read why each choice is right or wrong, then move on. After the last question you'll see your score as a percentage and a table showing how many questions you missed for each idea, so you know what to study next. The codes link to the AP CSA study guide, which explains each idea.

Your answers are saved in this browser as you go, so you can close the page and pick up where you left off. The numbered boxes above each question let you go back and review any question you've already answered. Use Start over to clear your answers and begin again. Nothing is sent to a server.
